Tutoring
WHAT WE DO
- Treehouse teachers work in six Seattle public schools: African-American Academy K-8, Aki Kurose Middle School, Bailey Gatzert Elementary School, Madrona K-8, Meany Middle School and Washington Middle School. They work with eligible students during the school day help with classwork, homework and projects.
- After school, students can attend drop-in tutoring at our Treehouse Learning Center in Rainier Valley at the main Treehouse office 2100 Rainier Ave S.
- Summer Academy, school break camps and test preparation classes are offered at the Treehouse Learning Center in Rainier Valley.
ELIGIBILITY
Treehouse services are available to all children and youth in King County with open DCFS case files – including those who live with their parents or relatives, as well as those in out-of-home foster care. Before you can use Little Wishes, your DCFS social worker must complete and return a Treehouse referral for each eligible participant. See our complete eligibility guidelines.
